Lokesh Yadav, Blessy Jacob, Vineeth Chandy

Abstract

Viral infection like the regular cold, influenza, gastroenteritis, chickenpox herpes, hepatitis (Hep), (HIV), and flu are lethal in the greater part of cases, and treatment with manufactured medications may treat viral infection successfully yet have numerous long-lasting antagonistic results for other imperative organs of the human body. Numerous antiviral drugs as of now in clinical use have a thin range of action, restricted remedial handiness, and variable harmfulness. On the other side, plant based antiviral medications are discovered to be successful against different viral strain which influence human diseases and are discovered to be useful on different organs of the body. Larger part of normal antiviral concentrates was tried against human immunodeficiency infection (HIV), herpes simplex infections (HSV), rhinoviruses, enteroviruses, hepatitis (Hep), and flu infections. Plant parts like roots, stem berries, blossoms and others plant extract have discovered to be viable as antiviral specialist. Here in this review, endeavor has been made to by and large present all the significantly discovered antiviral drugs, whose source is plant with their constituent and the viral infections against which it tends to be successfully utilized.
