Abstract

The objective of the present research investigation was to reveal the versatile nature of endophytic Aspergillus nomius EF8-RSM. The fungus was purified from Aloe vera, Western Ghats of Karnataka, India and sequence was submitted at NCBI under the accession number MN871698. The fungus successfully produced Indole acetic acid at the rate of 49.21±6.1 μg/ml and phosphate solubilization was confirmed with solubilization index (1.63). The fungus showed production of siderophore, ammonia and HCN. The fungus showed the production of cellulase, amylase, chitinase, xylanase, pectinase and gelatinase with R²= 0.2543. The fungus further showed the production of AgNPs within 5.86±0.41 h and AgNPs were showed spherical shape with 21 nm of size under SEM. We concluded that the present research investigation is the first report available from the Aloe vera for versatile nature of endophyticfungus.
