An Insight to Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Treatment of COVID-19
Abstract
Abstract
Since late December, 2019 an outbreak of a novel coronavirus disease was reported in Wuhan, China with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). It is commonly known as COVID-19 means a disease caused by coronavirus and the first case was identified in 2019. The WHO declared the COVID-19 a global pandemic in March, 2020 because it affected more than 100 countries worldwide. In this review we summarize epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19. The absence of vaccines and antiviral drug, isolation and quarantine are achieving remarkable results against coronavirus cases. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of COVID-19 and to develop drugs and vaccines of the COVID-19 infection as soon as possible.
