Abstract

Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu contains 33 ingredients which have various types of actions in the body. Most of these ingredients are having Tikta Rasa, Ushna Virya and Madhura and Katu Vipaka. Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu contains Tikta Rasa which increase the Dhatvagni (metabolic stage). As Dhatvagni increase, nutrition of all the Dhatus will be increased. It can be said, it slows down the degeneration processes.
