To Estimate the Antibacterial Activity of Piper Nigrum Extract

Vaishnavi Satav, Yachika Karade

Abstract

A natural remedy called piper nigrum is used to cure a variety of illnesses. It is employed in conventional herbal medicine for a number of therapeutic applications. Alkaloids, tannins, phenolics, and other phytochemicals can be found in Piper nigrum leaf tissue. In different places, medicinal plants are employed as a source of several effective and strong medications and are a rich supply of antibacterial compounds. The main chemical component that gives black pepper its bitter flavor is called piperine. Numerous active chemicals with recognized pharmacological effects have been shown to exist in these spices, according to recent scientific studies. Due to their enormous medicinal potential, it is also employed in foods and cosmetics. In the current study, Piper nigrum leaf was gathered, its chemicals were extracted using solvents, and then their effects against organisms at various doses were examined.

Keywords
