Tribulus terrestris is a perennial plant, grown predominantly in in India and Africa. Its extract contains alkaloids; Saponins. Resins, flavonoids and nitrates. A review was conducted to gather information on various aspects of Gokshura in light of its therapeutic efficacy. This plant's clinical and pharmacological evaluation was based on bedside Ayurvedic references.
