Abstract

Abstract

A deadly disease named COVID-19 which initially spread in China emerged as global health emergency in 2020. WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic in March 2020 and since then all the nations are struggling in their own way to find out effective treatments to combat the disease. Prima facie the symptoms of COVID-19 usually presents as an acute viral respiratory tract infection. Therefore, many diagnostic tests related to common viral pneumonia was considered. Presently, there is no medication and effective treatment for COVID-19 and supportive treatment with proper social precaution is the only strategy. The article summarizes many experimental trials that are being carried out all over the world in order to find solution for curing the disease.
