Preliminary Phytochemical Investigation of the Leaves and Stem of the Prosopis cineraria (L.) Druce
Abstract
The trees are the greatest gift to the mankind; the civilization on this planet depends on the successful utilization of the plants and the animals for the various purposes. Early man depends on the nature’s mercy and they hunted the animal for the hunger but as the human started the domestication, they use the trees and they observed the natures for the several purposes. The trees are the reservoirs of the several kinds of the metabolites of the unknown composition. The economic world of the human is depending solely in one or another way fro he several uses of the plant’s parts. The trees products and their utilization are the result of the experiences of the several communities from the long-time experiences. These are termed as the folk medicines, and the Traditional medicines (TM). They are passed from the one generation to another by the way of the communications and the other means. In this research articles we are trying to elucidate the preliminary phytochemical investigation of the stem and the leaves of the one of the trees of the Rajasthan, it is termed as the Prosopis cineraria (L.) Druce. We use the several polar and the non-polar solvents for the elucidation of the primary phytochemical and then sorted out the results. From the ethno- botanical the trees is very valuable and the all parts of the trees are used for the medicines and the other purposes. The tree is the state tree and the several workers has worked on the various aspects of the trees.
