Ailanthus excelsa Roxb., a member of Simaroubaceae family known as Maha-Neem. Traditional medicinal uses of Mahanimb or Maharukha have been documented. The presence of potentially active nutrients and their multifunctional properties make Ailanthus spp. leaves, roots and bark perfect candidates for the production of phyto-pharmaceutical products. It has long been used as a treatment for a variety of ailments, including anaemia, fever, hyperglycemia, antihyperlipidemic, bronchial asthma, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and - hypercholesterolemic, anti-malarial, anti-bacterial, antiviral, improve platelet function, wound healing, monoamino-oxidase inhibitor, and nutritional important etc. by tribal of Rajasthan and Gujrat. Because of the growing demand for chronic illness prevention and treatment, it is critical to make these health benefits clear to the public. Maha-neem, which has long been valued for its pharmacological qualities by numerous researchers, is still mostly unknown due to a lack of scientific data. The purpose of this article is to outline all of Ailanthus excelsa's traditional properties, including fruit, leaf, and bark.
