Abstract

Total phenolic compounds are belonging to secondary metabolites and played an antioxidant and anti-cancer activity. In the Soxhlet extraction process, the extraction of total phenolic content concentration was 8.6 µg/ml obtained from seeds of longan fruit at 5 hr. This extract was drawn in to the column chromatography and its concentration was increased to 9.2 µg/ml. The purity of phenolic content was improved by column chromatography at 40 min.
