Heterocyclic are one of the most important compounds in organic chemistry. Thiazolidinoneand its derivatives are the most important heterocyclic compounds, which are common and integral feature of a variety of natural products and pharmaceutical agents. Thiazolidinone is a cyclic amide formally derived from Thiazolidinone by replacing the Methylene group at position two with a carbonyl group, having various biological activities. Thiazolidinone are the new class of antimicrobial agents with activity against broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial strain pathogens. So, many researches are ongoing on Thiazolidinone and on its derivatives and evaluated against various strains of bacteria. In this review, the authors have given information regarding few of the derivatives of thiazolidinone and its activity against different strains.
